Shyla Esko Bare took her first solo trip at the age of fifteen. Since then, she has been around the world a few times and has lived in Scotland, Australia, Thailand, and Mexico. When not globetrotting, she resides in Lake Forest Park, WA. Shyla has a BA in Business from the University of Washington and an MBA from Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland. She is an International Travel Coach for Wild Spirit Travel. Shyla feels honored to have been named International Travel Coach of the year three times by Lux Life Magazine (2020, 2022, 2023).Her focus is on travel education, and she has taught over twenty different how-to courses at colleges and other venues in the Pacific Northwest. Shyla is the co-creator of the Travel Smart Strategies online travel tip video library and co-author of the Before You Go Abroad Handbook. She is also an international keynote speaker having given travel presentations on four continents.In her free time, Shyla enjoys scrapbooking, watching soccer, hiking, kayaking, and wandering around libraries. And yes, she still enjoys traveling the world!
