Sun Tzu (544.B.C. – 496 B.C.) was a Chinese general, military strategist, and philosopher. Named Sun Wu at birth, his notoriety brought the people of China to refer to him by the honorific title Sun Tzu meaning Master Sun. Famously credited around the world for writing The Art of War, he is also highly revered in Asia as a legendary historical figure due to his teaching and wisdom.
