Bettina Bergo is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Montreal. Her many publications include Levinas Between Ethics and Politics (2003), « I Don »t See Color »: Personal and Critical Perspectives on White Privilege (co-edited with Tracy Nicholls, 2015), Nietzsche and Levinas: « After the Death of a Certain God » (co-edited with Jill Stauffer, 2008), and The Trauma Controversy: Philosophical and Interdisciplinary Dialogues (co-edited with Kristen Brown Golden, 2009). She is the translator of many works of European philosophy, including Didier Franck »s Nietzsche and the Shadow of God (2012), Jean-Luc Nancy »s Dis-Enclosure (2008), and Emmanuel Levinas »s On Escape (2003).
