Bette Price is a marketing and management consultant who combines real-life experiences with sound, practical theory to help companies strengthen their leadership teams and develop growth strategies. Prior to operating her own business, Bette was an award-winning print and broadcast journalist. She was a columnist and feature writer for the Kansas City Star and was part of the team that earned the newspaper a Pulitzer Prize for coverage of the tragic Hyatt Hotel skywalk collapse. Prior to joining the newspaper, she hosted her own news and information television shows in Cleveland, Ohio, and Kansas City. Bette is the author of True Leaders, which has been published in seven languages and has been quoted in such major publications as the Financial Times, Investors Business Daily, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal. In addition to writing her own books, she has authored several business and memoir books for others. For more than twenty years, she was an active member of the National Speakers Association. Bette is the mother of two adult children and the grandmother of four. She resides in the Dallas suburb of Addison, Texas, with her husband, John, and their precious cat, Lucky.
