History of Kong Hou 

History of Kong Hou/ Chinese Music Archaeology Series is an academic monograph that systematically studies "Kong Hou". It starts from more than 10 pieces of real objects, which are excavated in Xinjiang after 1996, such as Qie Mo Kong Hou, Shan Shan Kong Hou, He Tian Kong Hou, Ta Xian Kong Hou and etc., as well as more than 200 images of Kong Hou existing in China. It is corroborated with ancient Kong Hou documents, and makes in-depth and detailed investigations into the emergence, development, dissemination, extinction and multi-cultural composition of this ancient musical instrument. It also makes a comparative description of similar instruments such as the ancient bazelek harp, Mongolian Kong Hou, Burmese curved harp, and domestic modern Kong Hou, which can form a heritage and contrast relationship. Most of the graphic materials involved in the book are on-site, physical measurements, and photography, which have originality and initial significance.
