One of Barrie’s most collectible works, this 1901 chronicle of his struggles to kick the habit remains a cult favorite among pipe smokers. He takes plenty of historical liberties along the way: “written generally in serio-comic vein, brightened with flashes of droll irony and quaint suggestion.”—The Times of London.
