Hayle Barvwell is a child, a child that knows nothing of good fatherhood, only the brutality of life at its core. At eight years old, Hayle assists the man who stole her from the streets and works at a small inn. Her life seems as though nothing will ever get better. However, the hope is kindled by a man who bears many burdens, a man who can change her life forevera father.
