Hailing from Fort Myers, FL, Phillip Buchanon is a former University of Miami All-American cornerback and professional football player who was drafted in the first round by the Oakland Raiders in the 2002 NFL Draft . Upon returning to the University of Miami to finish his degree in 2012, Phillip embarked upon pursuing his interests in entertainment with an eye on production in the television and film industry. Phillip has attended several classes and workshops at University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School, Harvard Business School and Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. In addition, Phillip is an active angel investor who is assiduously seeking opportunities to enhance his portfolio.

Currently, Phillip is working on several screenplays, treatments, novels, children’s books, board games and comic books, as well as a digital computer app. In the coming months, Phillip will debut New Money, a self-help guide to sustaining wealth based on Phil’s first hand experiences as a professional athlete; The Supernal’s Experiment, a sci-fi thriller about a doctor who helps children born with birth defects live normal lives after gaining super-powers; and The Equipment Guys, a hilarious tale about one man’s behind-the-scenes experience as a professional equipment manager.
