Sie arbeitet zur Religionsgeschichte des antiken Mittelmeerraums, insbesondere zum frühchristlichen Martyrium und zum Verhältnis von Ritual und Mythos sowie zu aktuellen Themen der Allgemeinen Religionswissenschaft.
