This book contains three short and long works of Mr. Zhang Henshui. They are Street Battle Night, Difficult Road to Sichuan and Yujiaozhi. The above novels are based on Sichuan and Chongqing during the Anti Japanese War, which has a sense of the times. Yujiaozhi tells the dispute between the landlord Cai Weijing and his tenant Wang Haode. Difficult Road to Sichuan describes the emotional distress of young Feng Zian and Bai Yuzhen on the way to seek refuge in the summer. Street Battle Night is a story about the people of Tianjin and Qianshan fighting with the invaders in the face of Japanese aggression.
