‘Thoughts of Marcus Aurelius’ is a collection of the personal reflections and philosophical musings of the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius. The book is a translation of Aurelius’ ‘Meditations, ‘ which was originally written in Greek.

The book is divided into twelve books, each containing a series of meditations or reflections on a particular theme. Some of the topics covered in the book include the nature of the universe, the nature of the soul, the importance of reason and logic, the virtues of wisdom, justice, courage, and self-control, and the importance of living in accordance with nature.
