Women in Cybersecurity provides a basic overview of the employment status of women in the cybersecurity field. While women comprise over 50% of the workforce in the U.S, less than 25% of cyber staff are female. This book offers a close look at the current status of women in the cybersecurity arena, highlights reasons for the paucity of women, and–relying both on research and personal experience–offers suggestions that will encourage women to join this technical field.
