David Edward Rose is a Lecturer in Philosophy at Newcastle University, UK, with interests in Hegelian ethics and counter-enlightenment thought and their application to contemporary moral and political issues. He has previously published books on the concept of free will and Hegel’s philosophy of right and has published various articles on European philosophy as well as moral and political philosophy.
