I have been an educator for the last ten years in urban community settings, with focus in elementary education (first to sixth grade). It is often tough to keep young students attention in learning without making it fun. I learned that fictional stories are sometimes that entryway into their hearts. I am very passionate about reading and writing and love to use my imagination. This helps me to always look for the fun in everything I do. I live in Elmont, New York, and love spending quality time with family—reading, writing, and educating.
