Roberto de Haro is a Mexican American educated in California, where he earned his doctoral degree. Now retired from a career as a university professor and senior-level academic executive, Roberto researches and writes historical fiction and detective stories. He and his wife, Nancy, live in Marin County, California. This is his eleventh novel.
