Bob Laster, who was inspired to publish this book after observing the dedication and energy of the local volunteer fire department, shares dozens of striking images that celebrate the community. During this time, he has photographed the countryside around Horseshoe Lake, Arkansas, including its lake scenery and surrounding countryside. Horseshoe Lake is just one of the many small communities that contribute to the strength of the United States of America.
