Ondersteuning
Daisy Davis lived for many years on the south coast of England, and the town of Horse-sur-mer is loosely based on the seaside town where she spent most of her time. She is of both Huguenot and Welsh heritage and was always convinced the two were connected. She was sure the answer was in a large old grimoire on her grandmother’s desk, but it turned out to be a Welsh dictionary. Daisy has a dark and unruly sense of humour that she tries to keep under control, but sometimes it breaks free, points a finger, and laughs at her. Daisy knows lots of people, none of whom are in this book. Except maybe the Valkyries. Daisy is an educator, writer, dog and cat lover, and avid avoider of the culinary arts. It turns out you can’t make a living from the last two, but she refuses to give them up. She has two sons and a daughter living in Britain. Daisy lives on the west coast of Canada with her dog, husband, another son, and the imaginary cast of Horse-sur-mer.
