Taking a brief from Bill Shakespeare, the Author traces his life from Rochester, NY to Cornell to New York City and to the world, beginning as an infant and progressing to a schoolboy, a lover and womanizer, an attorney, a business C.E.O. and entrepreneur and the author of a dozen books. With stops along the way as a folk-song promoter, a popular song lyricist, a matchmaker, a politcal activist, etc. Not all in a straight line; successes and flops included. However, all with an upbeat philosophy, eternal optimism and an ever available sense of humor, which shows in his lively writing style.

Marv has led a life of great satisfaction and achievement. He rose from lower middle-class to substantial wealth. He has traveled to over 70 countries and 49 states. He has lived in New York, California, Israel, London and Bangkok, has built a successful international business and raised three very successful kids––all while maintaining an optimistic outlook and a sense of humor. Photographer Chie Hamaguchi Rubinstein, wife of the Author, was born in Osaka. Japan, but has resided in New York City for the last 27 years, periodically wintering in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
