So is there any real difference between the Private and the Public Sector investigators? Not much, if writers are to be believed, and the two can often be found straddling both sides of the ‘what’s legal procedure?’ fence.

Of the twelve authors contained within, eleven are voices new to the world of Crimeucopia – and although the theme is Investigators, the material ranges from Cosy, through to not too Hardboiled – and most are touched with a vein of humour, be it light or dark. Rather like a box of chocolates…
