KAY PEGGS Principal Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Portsmouth, UK. Her current published work centres on animals in society. She has previously published on women and ageing, gender and health, and couple relationships. She is co-author with Richard Lampard ofIdentity and Repartnering after Separation which was published by Palgrave in 2007.
