Respect

Respect is one of the most important virtues a child can learn. It’s the glue that holds their relationships together. A respectful child accepts someone for who they are, even if they’re different from them. Respect in your child’s relationships builds feelings of trust, safety, and harmony.

Teaching children how to respect others can help ensure they develop positive relationships with their family, friends, peers, and teachers throughout their life. But, ultimately, it’s about making sure children treat other people with kindness.
