First published in 1861 ‘Tales of all Countries’ is Anthony Trollope’s first collection of short stories and includes some of his most-loved stories set all around the world. Works include ‘La Mere Bauche’ set in the Pyrenees, the Spanish tale of ‘John Bull on the Guadalquivir’ and the story of feisty, independent Englishwoman Sabrina Dawkins as she visits the wonders of Egypt.
