About the Author: This is a summary of the life this young man had to fight just to be able to share with the world the many talents that he kept inside for so long. He is as determined as they come. His stories and subject matter, creativity, style, originality, and ability to keep readers always ready to see what’s next are what motivate him. Doing everything he can do to help bring the world quality projects. Before he thought about stepping into the book or movie world, he knew that he had to have a strategy. He knew he couldn’t present himself to the world with the same things we see on television or in movies or the literature world either. So he figures a way to enter these worlds and stand out. He decides to be as original as possible and always different. “Nothing stands out more than something different. Why everyone is going right, I’m going left. What some writers stay away from, I walk into. I only write two kinds of stories: stories that inspire you or those that are so off the wall that I feel that the world has to know this. After I got either one of those components, I go to work.” He is also involved in other projects that he wishes to keep on the hush for a better surprise to his followers. He always shows respect to those who did this before him and has no problem saying how much of a fan he is of these people’s work. He just wants to step into these two lanes and do the best that he can so that one day the same people he is a fan of will recognize his talent. “That to me is better than any award. That is like Jordan saying he’s a fan of your game.” H. R. Smith is a very humble young man with the talent to make a lot of noise in the entertainment world. A good-hearted young man who’s always ready to put everything on the line for his family or friends. Raised in White Plains, New York, his family moved to Columbia, South Carolina, when he was about fifteen. He was shown the best of both worlds when he moved down south. “My toughness comes from New York, but the way I’m always so respectful came from South Carolina. I grew up with my mother and father, so I was able to see good examples of parenting from both of them. I just felt like I wanted change. And that somebody had to step up first to create some kind of change. So see when I’m writing my stories, I’m writing for them too. If my talent can help someone, then why wouldn’t I give this a shot? But nothing will ever motivate me more than my kids. Doing this, I’m showing them that they too can reach their dreams. They just never have to give up and know that you have to work hard for them. Making my family proud is how I started writing. As well as my stories are written, the story on how I wrote the story is just as interesting. Every story is different, and I was going through something every time I sat down and started writing. Who knows maybe one day, I will write the behind-the-scene story to all of this, but for right now, I’m just looking forward to being able to entertain you with my work.” In H. R. Smith’s spare time, he enjoys doing kung fu, hanging with family and friends, traveling, music, writing, reading, movies, and just having a good time, being around good people.
