Frank Baum penned an entire series dealing with this fantastical – and sometimes terrifying – wonderland. Tik-Tok of Oz, the eighth book in the original series, follows the adventures of a young girl from Oklahoma who lands in Oz via a shipwreck and meets up with a strange character called The Shaggy Man.
