Jochen Winter, 1957 in Schwetzingen/Baden geboren, lebt als Lyriker, Essayist und Übersetzer in Paris und Sant’ Alfio/Sizilien. Er erhielt das Jahresstipendium der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung sowie den Ernst-Meister-Preis und ist korrespondierendes Mitglied der Académie européenne de poésie in Luxemburg. Zuletzt erschien der Gedichtband »Spuren im Unermesslichen« (Agora Verlag Berlin 2012) und »Die Glut des Augenblicks. Aufzeichnungen vom Ätna« (Matthes & Seitz Berlin 2017). 2017 erhielt er den Literaturpreis der A und A Kulturstiftung.
