Dr Rico Sneller is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Leiden University, the Netherlands, and Vice-president of Alternative Perspectives and Global Concerns. His main research interests concern the critique of rationality in 19th and 20th century philosophy, altered states of consciousness, Jewish philosophy, and comparative philosophy. In 2014, he published, together with Hans Gerding and Hein van Dongen, Wild Beasts of the Philosophical Desert: Philosophers on Telepathy and Other Exceptional Experiences.
