New Legend of Water Margin I 

The New Legend of Water Margin is a novel written by Zhang Henshui, a popular novelist of the Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School. This book is the continuation of Jin Shengtan”s half version of Water Margin. It was created during the Anti Japanese War, and was published by Chongqing Jianzhong Publishing House in 1943. The book tells the story of Liangshan heroes helping the imperial court fight against the invasion of Jin State after the gathering of heroes.
