Beate Kellner ist seit 2010 Inhaberin des Lehrstuhls für Germanistische Mediävistik an der LMU München. Von 2002-2004 war sie Professorin in Göttingen, es folgten Rufe nach Dresden (2004), Wien und Zürich (2007).
Andreas Höfele, Lehrstuhl für Englische Literaturwissenschaft an der LMU bis 2016, ist Mitglied der Bayerischen und der Heidelberger Akademie der Wissenschaften. Er war Sprecher des DFG Sonderforschungsbereichs 573 «Pluralisierung und Autorität in der Frühen Neuzeit» und von 2002 bis 2011 Präsident der Deutschen Shakespeare-Gesellschaft.
