James Joyce (1882-1941) was an Irish writer and poet. Born in Dublin on February 2, 1882, died in Zurich, Switzerland on January 13, 1941. He is the originator of stream of consciousness literature, and his novel Ulysses is a masterpiece of stream of consciousness literature, which is one of the greatest novels in the 20th century.
