When the heating system at the local school suffers a massive breakdown, the twins find themselves out of school for a month. To help pass the time, Mr. Bobbsey takes the family on an extended vacation to New York and Washington, D.C., where they have the opportunity to take in some of the United States’ most iconic landmarks.
