The Training Meaning and Chapter Sentence of Sun Tzu

The Meaning of Sun Tzu’s Chapters and Sentences is based on Sun Tzu’s Ten Family Notes by Sun Xingyan of the Qing Dynasty. It is also based on Ming Zhengtong’s daozang edition, Tan Kai’s Jiajing edition and Chongwenguan Book store’s Book of All Schools edition."Chapter sentence" in the book refers to choosing the best from the directors of each school; the "training meaning" refers to "cutting off the numerous and remaining sentences and writing the essence" of the repetitive and contradictory sentences in the Ten Family Notes. During the selection of the ancient notes, Mr. Qian Jibo paid great attention to the use of modern military views and the two world wars, and gave full play to his military principles. His views were penetrating and analytical. His collation also had his own originality, so that readers could understand the essence of Sun Tzu’s art of war from a new perspective.
