Ruby H. Happel-Holtz was born in the rural community of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, to George H Hutchison and Etta Mae Van Bibber-Dickerson. She attended the Mt. Vernon High School, Herron Art Institute, Lockyear»s Business College, Indianapolis, IN. Chicago Art Institue, and the Community College of Brevard County, Fla. Always yearning for more knowledge she would return to many different educational facilities throughout her life. Now retired from a career in Space Technology, Cape Kennedy, Fla., Interior Design and Marketing Research, she spends her time painting, writing, needlework, gardening, and reading from her home in Amargosa Valley, Nevada. Ruby is the noted author of several books about her Blackfeet heritage, and a soon to be published children»s to adult book titled «Kool Kat Charlie of Cocoa Beach», her other published books are «The Unconquered Hearts», and «On Wings of Change».
