Performancekünstler und Choreograf in Kalifornien. Er ist Autor des Kult-Zines “Fag School”, Frontmann der Band “The Younger Lover” sowie Gründer der Brontez Purnell Dance Company. Für seinen Roman “Alabama” (im Original: “Since I Laid My Burden Down”) wurde er 2018 mit dem renommierten Whiting Award für Literatur ausgezeichnet.
