Author Dennis Patrick Slattery, who has been teaching Dantes works for more than twenty years, believes that our life stories are embedded in the journey of this pilgrim. Dennis Patrick Slattery is a core faculty member in the mythological studies program at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, California. He is the author, co-author, editor, or coeditor of seventeen books, including four volumes of poetry. Slattery and his wife Sandy live in Texas.
