The characters are obviously anti, but everything revolves around the love triangle of the young narrator with Dona Rita and Captain Blunt. Dona Rita, however, is a secret lender of a group of ammunition smugglers. Within this work there are the classic elements of success: the murky love and tormented relationships, intrigues, twists and turns, the struggle for power.
