‘The Eyes of Asia’ by Rudyard Kipling is a collection of four correspondence letters. The letters explain English culture through the eyes of someone who comes from Asian culture. Set during WWI, the letters describe the experiences and thoughts of Indian soldiers who were serving the British empire in Europe during one of the worst conflicts in the world. The letters are titled: A Retired Gentleman, The Fumes of the Heart, The Private Account, and A Trooper of Horse.
