After observing three sons, with very different personalities, and later a batch of grandsons, not a girl in sight, the author has learnt to appreciate the ever-changing ways of the young. The author lives in South Africa with her husband of forty-one years. At present, she is writing a record of her childhood in the mountainous area of the Eastern Cape but still finds time to write a short story when one or other grandson amuses her.
