He has to survive on the things he can scavenge from the empty holiday homes and work out a way to get rescued. As he struggles to attract attention from the shore, he has time to think over how Fug controls the school, and eventually comes up with a solution … if only he can get back to the mainland.

Malachy Doyle has written over a hundred books, from picture books to teenage novels. His books have won the Nestle Smarties Prize, the Tir na n-Og Award and the English Association Award. Malachy spent twenty five years in Wales, before returning to Ireland, where he lives on a tiny island with his wife, cats, dogs and ducks.
