Following a hair-raising adventure last summer, Abbie Hartley can’t wait to join her friend Perdita on the trip of a lifetime. Their destination? The Amazon jungle. Their mission? Debbie Thomas lives in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, where she runs a children's book club and creative writing classes. She also works for a charity supporting people with leprosy. Her book
Dead Hairy was published in 2011 and was promoted with some fantastic in-store events. She also writes for
Inis, the magazine of Children's Books Ireland.
