A Child’s Faith introduces children to faith and love in a world of uncertainty. Here, you’ll meet Tasha, a little girl in foster care who feels all alone. Tasha dreams of one day being adopted and accepted in the world. One day, her dream of adoption becomes a reality. She’s adopted by a loving family and finds the most caring and thoughtful friend in Thomas. After being teased by the other children at school, she thinks she’s better off without Thomas. Tasha learns that she had everything she ever needed and more with Thomas by her side.

Having faith in God means you believe He will do something even when it doesn’t seem possible. No matter what happens in life, remember to have faith in God. 

Lavelle Heard is a native of Chicago, Illinois, but now lives in Tennessee. She has three beautiful children and a passion for acting in theater, film, and television. Lavelle has always expressed herself through the arts and used them to heal from life’s traumatic events. She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and uses her experience and journey of faith to inspire others.
