The Book of Songs, Part of Feng

The Book of Songs is the oldest collected poems in China. It fully reflects the life of ancient people including their daily life, farming, labor struggles and so on. The book selects 61 poems. Each one has the original poem, annotation, translation and appreciation. It is divided into several parts in terms of genre. Ballads, also known as national ballads, consists of 15 groups in terms of the different places of the ballads such as Ballads of Southern Areas in Zhou Dynasty, Ballads in Tang Dynasty, The Ballads in Qin Dynasty and so on.
