Lin Sagovsky has spent years watching businesspeople perform badly in presentations and meetings—then coaching them in simple techniques that make all the difference. To do this, she draws on her background as a professional actor and writer. After training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and in the USA, she scripted training and marketing films for organisations like Shell International, Prudential, the Post Office, the Alzheimer”s Society and the Foreign Office. Over the years, she started combining her skills in live business contexts: as a forum theatre and roleplayer, writer and director of interactive plays, facilitator of interpersonal skills workshops, private coach in speaking with confidence, and creative consultant. Her consultancy, Play4Real, works with clients ranging from local authorities to central government departments; from small voluntary sector organisations to major financial services providers; and from niche technology companies to global FMCG manufacturers. Common to every contract is a customised, creative structure in which people have fun, learn new skills—and find their own answers.
