"Shantipura" is the story of people residing in a lower middle-class locality of Delhi, where amongst all the problems the people derive joy from the small things of life and have big dreams and hopes. They do not have the best of facilities, but the desire to deal with all that life has to offer and overcome all the hurdles is unsurpassed. Their liveliness cannot be daunted. Woven in this is the story of a family where there love, faith, dream and hopes and some nights filled with nightmares. But there is also hope that one day the sun will shine bright in their lives and they will see the dawn of a new morning. Also interwoven in this is the love story of Inder and Bani where their love not only sprouts but also has the potential to bloom further even in adverse circumstances. Shaantipura is a silent witness to this unique tale of love and also a companion.
