Comparison of Conceptual Metaphor between English and Chinese and Foreign Language Teaching 

Cognitive linguistics regards conceptual metaphor as a kind of thinking mode of human”s understanding of the world.This mode of thinking has the commonalities between cultures and there are also cultural differences.Conceptual metaphor plays a role as a cultural tool in foreign language teaching.
