The Adventures of Pinocchio is a novel for children by Italian author Carlo Collodi. The book is about an animated puppet Pinocchio/’s mischievous adventures and his father, a poor woodcarver named Geppetto.
It has inspired hundreds of new editions, stage plays, merchandising, television series and films since its first publication, such as Walt Disney/’s iconic animation, and popular ideas such as the long nose of a liar.
