Charles Reuben Lyngdoh is Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science, at Synod College, Shillong, Meghalaya, India. He was a member of the Meghalaya State Planning Board, from 2008 to 2009, a Resource Person at the Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute, India, in 2009, President of the Meghalaya College Teachers Association from 2010 to 2012, and Short Term Consultant at the World Bank in 2015. His areas of interest include tribal and indigenous studies, governance and human rights.
