I am an ordinary everyday aussie bloke. Born in Bairnsdale, East Gippsland, Victoria, married with 3 sons. I left school at 15 years to work. That”s all I knew, how to work. I worked for many years with rural contractors, fencing and building sheds and cattle yards. Then had several labouring jobs before travelling Oz. Travelled and worked around Oz for four years. One of the best times of my life and my biggest and best education. Returned to Bairnsdale and took a massive leap into real estate sales, which is still a big part of my life. In 1982 I accidently become aware of this curious unheard of thing called the Australian Constitution! I contacted my MP, who supplied me with a copy. It fascinated me like nothing else. All pollies and governments have to abide by it. It was a revelation. A book of rules that everyone, as equals, have to live by. Yet, it is the dullest and uninspiring read imaginable. But not to me, I devoured it over and over. Fascinated, knowing that no one could demand of me, other than by law as set out in the Constitution. It was a realisation that as a freeman and lawful man, my vote at elections was equal to the richest person in Australia. That tickled me. I could say to the most powerful person in Oz, “I disagree with you and think different, so up you jack!” Over a twenty year period, I jotted down my thoughts and ideas and wrote many letters to pollies and Governors and daily papers, especially about the Australian Constitution. Then one night I awoke at 2am and deliberated as to what to do with all this correspondence and material. You guessed it, a book, just as dull as the Constitution. But with one big difference, INSPIRING.
