About the author
E.M. Hull (1880 – 1947), also known as Edith Maude Henderson, was a London-born romance writer. She spent much of her youth traveling the globe, which would later inspire her future works. Hull began her writing career in the 1910s, with her first and most renown novel, The Sheik (1919). It was an international success that made her one of the most celebrated authors of the time.
