A Brief Survey of the Sanskrit Drama

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The following pages, 1n like manner, endeavour to touch the very soul of the old Sanskrit plays. This could not always be done without sacrificing technical details, and making free with the original texts. The dramatic plot is often paraphrased and presented in a modern garb, in order to attract the modern mind. I have to thank my learned friend, Dr. Louis C.
