Evie Wyld (1980) nació en Londres y creció a caballo entre Australia y el sur de Londres. Estudió Escritura creativa en la Universidad de Bath Spa y en la Universidad de Goldsmiths. Su primera novela, After the Fire, a Still Small voice, ganó los premios John Llewellyn Rhys y Betty Trask y estuvo nominada al Premio Orange para Nuevos Escritores, el Premio de la Commonwealth y el Premio Literario Internacional IMPAC de Dublín. En 2013, apareció como una de las diez novelistas británicas jóvenes de la década en la prestigiosa revista Granta.
Su segunda novela, Todos los pájaros cantan, obtuvo el Premio Miles Franklin, el Premio Award y el Premio Jerwood de Ficción, y estuvo nominada al Premio de Novela Costa, al James Tait Black y al Premio Bailey's de Ficción.
Actualmente compagina su faceta de escritora con la de dueña de una pequeña librería independiente de Peckam, en el sur de Londres.
